HEERO’s Group of Howard County Public School System Conference
Monday, October 23rd, 2006The Thunder Hill Park Alliance, a member of the HEERO’s Group formed to support the work of the Science Teachers within the Howard County Public School System. Also in attendance were the Resource Teachers from various schools.
An alternative park design, Thunder Hill Nature Park was presented along with a PP presentation of a children’s nature experience. A brief Q & A followed with the teachers attending the conference from 24 schools in the County.
The HEEROs group was founded in 2003. The Thunder Hill Park Alliance is grateful to John Quinn for pulling together Conservation and Ecological organizations from across the state to support the work of the children within our school system.
