To Phone… or not

My 8-year-old, Scott has been asking for a cell phone for at least a year now, and this story provided me an opprotunity to explore the idea with him. Who would you call if you had a phone? How else would you use it on a daily basis? What would you want to with a cell phone that people can’t do today?
