Wii All Can Play

As Nintendo had hoped when they created the Wii platform, people of all ages enjoy the tactile nature and unique intuitive design of the video game system. This 5th generation system from Nintendo uses a wireless motion-sensitive controller instead of the button-heavy controllers of previous systems.

The great thing about this innovative design is that people of any age can participate in the game play because the movements involved in the game play is so similar to real life.  To throw a football in a Wii game, you hold the WiiMote and make the motion of throwing a real football. Same with tennis or bowling and many other video game movements. In fact physical therapists are beginning to use the Wii as part of rehabilitation therapy routines and retirement communities are using them just to get seniors up and moving. Best of all, its fun for everyone.

How can we use video games for real-life purposes?

What do you learn from playing video games?

If you could design a game, what would the story be and how would it be played?
