TV commercial for Nutella was pulled off the air in the UK this week because consumers complained that the ad was misleading. In the spot, a narrator explained that Nutella could be part of a nutritious breakfast while the visual showed a mom spreading the hazelnut paste onto toast for her kids. The consumer complaints focused on the lack of actual nutrition in the spread, and the exaggeration of the claims made by the ad.
